BECAUSE ONLY TOGETHER WE CAN
Our mission is to engage in charitable activities that will promote unity among Filipino American nurses in Oregon and Washington.
WHO WE ARE
Partnering to build an organization where we unite fellow nurses and promote outreach programs.
The Philippines Nurses Association of America (PNAA) is a national association that was founded in 1979. Philippine Nurses Association of Oregon & Washington (PNAOW) is one of the 40 local chapters of PNAA. PNAOW officially joined the national association last March 2003. The organization was welcomed and acknowledged as the 30th chapter of the PNAA.
Staying strong at 16 years, the organization has continued what it started and has unfolded its mission to foster unity among members, spearhead outreach programs and mentor fellow nurses and nursing students.
WHAT WE DO
— We Engage
PNAOW engages in charitable activities. Through the years, we have always made international outreach programs its priority. Our hearts have the passion to care by bringing free clinics, feeding programs and relief missions.
— We Strengthen
As an organization, PNAOW strengthens each member by fostering and advocating each other’s professional growth. We do this by offering academic scholarships, creating Continuing Education events and attending PNAA conferences.
— We Unite
We unite as one organization to do our goals. PNAOW does occasional meetups for fundraising activities and simply for catching up. We are not just acquaintances, but we are a family as well.
